Scion Surface Experience to Captivate Crowds at Future Auto Shows

While many auto shows are the place to be if you want to witness the unveiling of new production modes and ground breaking concept cars, even we here at Vanderstyne Scion are willing to admit that these exciting events tend to happen in a rather boring way. The show floor of these events are often stiff and maybe a tad overly-professional looking. Scion, on the other hand, likes to shake things up even in the world of automotive presentations.
The Japanese automaker is introducing an entirely new method to convey vital vehicle information to show goers, which will be called the Scion Surface Experience. This new initiative invites the attendees at auto shows to collect eight special cards, which can be placed on an interactive table at the show's Scion booth.
These cards take use a technology called augmented reality, which changes the look of the interactive table's LCD display when they are placed upon it. The moment the card is dropped onto the table, the area around it lights up, completing the card's image on the table. At this point, the user can manipulate the cards by turning, moving, or flipping, as he/she navigates through a menu of options that appears on the table's display.
You will be pleased to know that these cards aren't simply limited to information on vehicles in the new Scion lineup either. When the cards are flipped over on the table, it will trigger an original music track to start playing. The track can be remixed by the user, by adding and removing any of the other cards, and placing all eight on the table at once completes the music track to be played in its original entirety.
The question remains, will you be attending one of these future events? If so, make sure to check out the Scion booth, and have some fun with the Scion Surface Experience. If you do, we hope that you let us know how it goes by leaving us a comment! Vanderstyne Scion, located at 4374 Ridge Road West, Rochester, NY, would love to know what you think about this new Scion experience!
